With a music career spanning four decades, PURE GOLD performs material from the '50s to present including a blend of blues, standards and original material to highlight their unique talent and range.
Starting in 1978 as Acapella Gold, they quickly gained popularity. After a few successful years they decided to add a band and name the group PURE GOLD. After 43 years of performing, PURE GOLD decided to retire, and their fans were sad to see this legendary group perform its final show in December 2021.
With permission from the group's lifelong manager, Henry DeLuca, an agreement was made to continue under new management with a revitalized rendition of the band that has kept Pittsburgh rocking since 1978! We want to thank all of our fans who have and continue to support us throughout the years.
